Our Programs

Curriculum and Co-Curricular Activities

As with each school in the York Region District School Board, Trillium Woods complies with the curriculum standards as set out by the Ontario Ministry of Education. We have a vibrant library that is open daily to students and staff and we continue to acquire resources that support the school plan and curriculum expectations. 

We are also very proud to offer the following programs to our students:

  • Anti-Bullying programs through various assembly presentations
  • Guest speakers and workshops
  • Junior Achievement presentations
  • Ongoing and informal social skills counseling by a Child and Youth Worker
  • VIP  (Values-Influences-Peers) program and presentations
  • Swim to Survive program
  • VORC (Vivian Outdoor Recreation Centre) programs for Grades 2, 4 and 7
  • Spoken Word Club
